Tips for anchoring your trampoline:
Your water trampoline comes with an anchor clip. This anchor clip attaches from the bars of the trampoline in three different locations. The clip has a self-centering device that allows you to attach your anchor. This self-centering device allows the trampoline to float down wind to allow the least amount of resistance. There is no standard anchoring device for water trampolines. We do however recommend that everyone use an anchor connector when installing a trampoline. An anchor connector is a bungy system that allows the trampoline to be forgiving during high winds or chop. There are two major questions that will help to determine the best way to anchor:
1. What is the lake bottom? (Sandy, stumps, rocks etc.)
2. How much wind is your trampoline going to be exposed to? (protective cove or open water)
We have seen people use screw anchors for sandy type bottom or concrete blocks, septic lids, or 5 gallon buckets of concrete for bottoms that have rocks or stumps.
As for wind exposure, we recommend a minimum of 100 lbs. with a 15 ft. AJ for light winds in a protective cove. Double that for windy areas. You can never have too much weight anchoring your trampoline. Please review your owners manual for a more exact anchoring amount.
