1. Water trampolines can range in size from up to 10 to 15 feet and have frames with springs that are supported on top of a large, round inflatable tube. Water trampolines require an hour or two to set up.
2. Using an industrial inflator is recommended to inflate the water trampoline. This can take 10 to 20 minutes. Using the air output side of a shop vacuum is also an effective way to inflate the water trampoline.
3. Use of an air compressor to inflate the water trampoline is not recommended, as the high pressure output of most air compressors can easily cause over-inflation. If a compressor must be used, be sure not to exceed 2 PSI within the tube.
4. There are two things to consider regarding leaving your Rave Sports water trampoline in the water for the season. 1) Local regulations regarding anchoring and 2) if the area is often exposed to high winds. In parts of the world where water never freezes, a water trampoline could be left in all year.
5. Water trampolines should be anchored in at least 10 feet of water in an area at least 30 feet from docks, boats or other obstructions. Anchoring methods will vary depending on water depth, type of water bottom, exposure to high winds, water current, etc.
6. Most inflatable trampolines require a minimum of 60 pounds of anchor weight. A water trampoline on larger bodies of water may require more weight.
7. The bounce height of your Island Hopper water trampoline depends on the firmness of the tube and the weight and strength of the bouncer. Water trampolines do not perform the same as land trampolines because the water and inflated tube absorb some of the bounce.
8. Water bouncers are smaller water trampolines without frames or springs. Water bouncers are easy to set up and can be stored in a boat or RV. Water bouncers are quickly inflated or deflated in less than 10 minutes. Water bouncers vary in sizes from 9 to 13 feet.
